Dunie Objects
Kese in making
ABout the process
For our first drop we created a line of 7 KESEs. We envisioned KESE as a versatile interior object. Although, traditionally it's considered to be a variation of the tea cup, we see it as a vessel for your most cherished belongings.
We produced them locally with help of Forma ceramics and residents of Dunie Lab — our crafts experimentation laboratory. Each form was casted separately. After firing the initial cast our Dunie Lab team carefully hand painted each KESE with an original design. After many trials we were able to create 7 different KESE inspired by our favorite ornamental symbols.
We produced a limited edition of 30 pieces for each design.
